If a door unlocks but will not lock again then replace the door switch. I have a 2000 slk 230. Apply wd 40 or equivalent product directly into the lock. Inside grip can not be moved it s stuck.

You likely have a shorted door lock actuator which you can replace with a new unit for the lock that is not working. Hello i am working on a mercedes vito w639 the passenger door can not be opened from inside and outside. The door locks actuate as soon as i press the key fob but both the fuel filler lock and the glove box lock only actuate after a delay of several seconds. Occasionally they don t actuate and the system times out. There is a central door locking pump under the back seat the motor has gone in it cheap way to repair is to strip it down and put a motor in it from a tyre compreser from argos for under 10 very easy to fit just two wires posted on aug 05 2009.

In right door control module there is dtc right front door cl short circuit to ground dtc can not be removed. Open and close lock to.
